The Tragedies of Travelling

The past few days have been extremely difficult for us all. It started with our decision to re-route to Lyon which incidently trapped us in Chamberry and got us to Milan slightly later and so we had to cut Split out of our list.

During the day time has been great, we've explored many places and appreciated every city apart from Chamberry of course. Yet we still haven't had a full night out yet, neither Lyon or Milan have pub crawls that we found last year. Instead a Monday in Milan is apparently dead and instead the majority of Italians just sit round having a quiet drink rather than demand parties like ourselves.

Although we have all been disappointed with most of the nights so far we are all agreed that the trip is just as good and this experience of not having a perfect Eurotrip like we did last year has only made us appreciate it more. We leave for Budapest in a couple of hours and it's guaranteed that will be smashed well and truly. If anything the lows of the last destinations night wise will only make the highs that much better on the rest of the trip.

Travelling isn't plain sailing and we have well and truly learnt this lesson. Oh and to rub further salt in the wound we had 5 wonderful Barcelona chicas arrive in our dorm last night... which unfortunately was our last night.
