With the prospect of the second Eurotrip looming it all seems a bit daunting, not just because no one is organising it from start to finish but also because those people who promised to come last year are preaching the same old story. However, this year Mike Wilson has gone one step further having acquired a 50 litre backpack, now that's some serious shit if I've ever heard it.
But let's make one thing clear.... this is Mike Wilson.
I will only believe him when I see him in Toulon where I hope to meet the rest of the group, until then I shall take his remarks on the chin and play along in his demented game. Eurotrip 2.0 will be just as good if not better but I would be lying if I said I'm not worried. I have to meet them somewhere and it might well be me on my ones and so I have the slight thought in the back of my mind that I'll be there stood at the airport by myself. I haven't the faintest clue who will step up to the plate to run this but considering last year Eurotrip was organised by Feburary and not a word has been discussed now... well it just appears this will be an epically unorganised but nontheless brilliant adventure. After all, it's all about the spur of the moment stuff, let's just hope I have someone to share it with.
