Tourism Suicide

I was hoping that the rumours floating around this week about the coffee shop ban to tourists in the Netherlands was some sort of crude jokes. However, it looks set to happen as the tabloids grab hold of the story and verify the claims. It appears that come the end of the year tourists shall have to pay for an annual `dope pass' for one cafe and each cafe is allowed 1500 members. In all honesty, I'm perfectly fine with this considering we hit the Dam in just over 8 weeks, so we'll get the best of it before the heavy hand of the law strikes.

The latest update of the trip is as follows:

  • Everyone apart from Wilson is completely booked (Barca hostel, Rail pass & flight home from Brussels)

  • We await from Carney and Swainbank to report back on their trip to Brussels to see how long it's worth staying there

  • I can't be fucked with these exams

So, it's 7 weeks to the day until I set off to Barcelona. It's also less than 24 hours before my Economics exam, swerve Classical models and the ISLM. I want my sangria and paella.
